Welcome to VandyHacks - Vanderbilt University's annual student-run hackathon! We welcome hackers of all skill levels and backgrounds to attend our event.
For any other inquries or to view the schedule, please visit vandyhacks.org.
Requirements
You will be submitting your project online via Devpost. All submissions are due by 9:00 AM CST on Sunday, so be aware of the time because you will not be allowed to submit afterwards. You will be asked to write a title and short description for your project, as well as include a link to a public GitHub repository. Remember, this is something you can show off to recruiters, family, and friends in the future!
We do not allow duplicate submissions to other hackathons and will disqualify such projects. We will verify commit history to judge the work done during the hackathon. In order to do so, we will only judge projects with public repositories on GitHub.
If your project is submitted to Devpost before 9.00 am CST, you will receive a seven-minute time slot (5 minutes for presenting, 2 minutes for questions) from our judging tool, Witness. Your time slot assignment will include a zoom link, where your judging will occur. Failing to attend the zoom call in a timely manner (including going over time during presentations) makes participants ineligible to win prizes.
